As I, Iyaaaaarrrn Higton, eagerly await the launch, I've readied my ship and prepared for adventure!

The PS5 open beta of Sea of Thieves has been underway for a week, and according to Digital Foundry's Oliver Mackenzie, the game's charm remains intact and is sure to delight PlayStation players. 

However, Mackenzie did note some networking issues that he hopes will be resolved by launch.

Join me at 2pm BST as I stream 90 minutes of the PS5 version of Sea of Thieves, offering you a firsthand look at the final release before you set sail. 

Please note that the game servers are currently offline in preparation for Season 12 and the influx of new pirates on PS5. 

Depending on when they return and the size of the update, there may be a slight delay in the start time.
